Imagining a World Without Men

Imagining a World Without Men

The radical feminists’ leaders were clear that they didn’t like men. Feminism’s entire purpose was to promote competition with men and even wants superiority over them. (Why do you think they are clamoring for a female president?) They falsely believe that women are better than men. Modern women now claim that they don’t need men. They are strong, independent, and free. I asked the women in the chat room to imagine a world without men and here is what they came up with:

“Where would we live in? I can’t imagine our roads and buildings would be what they are right now.” (Paulina Marie)

“Our cars would mostly be broken. I know just a little about turning wrenches, but most women don’t. Even what I do know would be useless once the fuel supply ran out.

“I can shoot a cow, butcher it too, but how on earth could I get it up in a tree to hang and drain by myself? I could use the front-end loader on the tractor to hang it up, but without diesel, again, my tractor is useless. Who would build the tractor and factories?

“I don’t know how to cast my own shells and reload them (Daddy did), but even if I got his old book out and read how to do it, that knowledge would be useless if I couldn’t get a hold of lead and gunpowder. Very few women work in the mines or the oilfield. Also, everything I learned was taught to me by men.” (Rachel)

“Houses to love in, trees to cut down for fire wood, protection during the night when we hear something, and hard discipline issues with pre-teen boys! So, so many things I could list!” (Jennifer)

“We wouldn’t have babies.” (Lisa)

“We wouldn’t have masculinity to balance out our femininity. Some women are more masculine than others, but men are just different.” (Paige)

“We would probably be walking in wooded over-grown places and be poor, lonely, homeless, and it definitely wouldn’t be good!” (Heather)

“Men are the majority workers in anything physically demanding: oil fields, mines, factories, mechanical, construction, police officers, firefighters, and even the women EMT’s call in the men for heavy patients. Women are the physically weaker sex. We cannot do everything a man can do. It’s impossible. Even if there is a manly strong woman, that’s a rarity and would not be enough to sustain our race.” (Cassie)

“No pregnancies… no babies and children…” (Rachel)

Life would be bleak without men. For one thing, I think we’d be vegetarians if it weren’t for men! God created man first for a reason. Learn to appreciate what men have added to make life better, and be thankful for the good men in your life. Reject feminism completely since it rejects God and His created order.

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:7

  1. Hahah, I love all the answers and I would like to add, contrary to popular belief, I think there would be more wars if there weren’t for men (or at least if there were only women in leadership positions). Women bicker so much! All friendship groups I have ever had contact with benefited from a bit of mixed company; if it’s only females in a friendship group, there is constant drama and fighting!

  2. I so believe feminist want Biden to win because his VP will/would take over as president. Sadly more and more women are trying to do everything a man can do. But God made man and woman different for a reason.

  3. Lori, I really greatly appreciate that there are older ladies, such as yourself, who are still willing to teach ladies of all ages, what the Bible says, we are called to do. I havent always felt like this, ( because feminism , really does destroy our women ; weakens men; and ruins our society .)But I now choose to accept and freely BELIEVE that God, have money, wealth of any kind; and riches to MEN. He, did NOT give those things to women, for a reason. Now, with her husband’s permission, however ; it doesn’t mean that a women can’t make money…But I feel like, none the less; she needs to allow for her husband, to be the MAIN provider. Her, incom, doesn’t need to usurp his incom. In, the dangerous world we live in today; we as women definitely need to be running back to men; and depending on men. I fully accept that. PLease, pray for me; that God will still send me a husband, who wants to practice and try to live out the biblical gender roles, with me.

  4. “IMAGINING A WORLD WITHOUT MEN”

Some of us love the idea of having all of us take an extended “vacation” (the planet Uranus seems a safe enough destination; seeing nuclear power plants on Earth suddenly devoid of their work forces would be particularly satisfying). It’s just a shame that such an exercise isn’t (yet) possible or practical, as it would seem to be the only realistic way of teaching a lesson and driving home a point.

  5. It seems to me that most of the feminists that attack this blog site here, and on Twitter fall under the category of materialist feminism. Materialist feminism want to, among other things end gender roles, such as bearing children, abolish capitalism and rid America of our patriarchal society . They seek to make society an egalitarian society and advocate for free education especially for women. But like anything else it comes with a price. Gender is not a social construct. Gender has been ordained by God. Male and female He created them Genesis 5:2. God designed men and women to contribute to society differently. One not less important than the other. (Genesis 1:27) Women should embrace their femininity and God ordained roles. Not try to change it., in my opinion.

  6. Well, women in your circle might be helpless, frail little things, but be honest. At least without men, you wouldn’t have senseless wars and violence.

  7. I don’t even want to play that game for even a moment in my mind! :::shudders::: Too horrible to imagine.

I love men. I could go on an on. My best friends in both high school and college were guys. Why? Because they were strong and stable. They were honest and didn’t stab me in the back. They kept my secrets, they weren’t catty, & they gave really good advice! They were dependable and not flighty or prone to emotional tantrums. I had more guy friends than girl friends from 13-30!

As bosses for my working years? No question. I worked for one woman I truly liked… I was 16 and she was our pre-school director! After that- ugh. Many of the same reasons I had guy friends. My women bosses were gossipy, moody, emotional, unpredictable, I was never really sure where I stood, etc. Even the jerkiest of men were better. I may not have liked a couple of them, but I always knew there were no silly games going on in their heads.

I never had good relationships with my mom or dad growing up. I didn’t envy friends with great moms nearly as much as I envied the friends with great dads. I still do. I think fathers are so influential in ensuring their daughters are attracted to/marry good men. I had my dear Grandpa for that, but he died when I was only 17. But his influence on young me must’ve crept through because I married a wonderful man.
I’m only sorry he doesn’t have daughters because they would make some men really happy.

    Sorry so longwinded.

  8. Jill, I know there are plenty of women who have committed violent acts and now sit in FULL-OF women prisons because of their violence. Women and men have the capability to be violent. That’s a ridiculous statement – as if men are the only violent beings.

I am not frail. I am athletic and strong, but there are still things I NEED my husband for -1) sex 2) a non emotional head when I get PMS crazy 3) heavy lifting and the dirty jobs (uh no thanks!) 4) protection if someone comes in our home in the middle of the night (yes I know how to use a gun and I’m a good shot, but in the middle of a crisis I’m not sure if I’d be as strong especially if it’s hand to hand combat and the person who intrudes is much bigger than me 5) a person to talk to BESIDES a woman !!!!!! I can’t talk to just women all day -woof – drama ….. ugh….. it’s nice to talk with someone who tells it like it is and who is blunt and mean what they say and who does not expect you to read between the lines (like most women do). 5) for my two boys to be able to look up to someone besides me – there are things my husband gives to the boys that I can’t – I just don’t like to wrestle … PERIOD.

Plus I LOVE my little boys and they will become men one day and I CANT WAIT. They are awesome people and I would not change them to girls if I had the option. Yes, they are different from girls but we should celebrate the differences and enjoy them for WHO they are instead of wanting to FIX them. There is nothing wrong with them! I could say there are tons of things about me (a woman) that could be fixed but let’s celebrate the differences not try and change the person.

There are a ton more examples I could give , but my goodness- you are ignorant and must be too self absorbed if you think we don’t need men.

  9. Hi Jill, I would like the address the concerns you noted in your comment. Let me preface my comment by saying I am not criticizing you in any way. I simply hope to clear any misconceptions you may have heard about women in the Bible.
First, I have to agree with Lori that there would be wars. Why? Because sin is common to both men and women. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man.” (Man in this instance would mean mankind. This includes women.) We are all tempted to the same sins. We all have a sin nature that can only be overcome by God’s grace and power.
Second, your concern that biblical women must be frail. This is not an ideal in Scripture, nor do I believe that the women who comment here believe that it is. It is true that women do not have, for example, the same upper body strength as men, but that does not equal that we are frail and helpless. The Proverbs 31 woman was certainly not frail in mind or body.

Bodily strength: “She girds herself with strength and makes her arms strong.” (Prov 31:17)
“Strength and dignity are her clothing.” (Prov 31:25)

Mental Strength: “She is not afraid of the snow for her household, for all her household are clothed with scarlet” (Prov 31:21; see, this is not a timid or helpless woman. She is prepared.)
“She smiles at the future” (Prov 31:25; again, no fear or timidity)
“She opens her mouth in wisdom” (Prov 31:26; maturity, soundness of mind, and courage is required to know when is the proper time to speak. Doubtless, she knew the Word of God well).

This is the ideal found in God’s Word. We are not called to be helpless; rather we are to do our husbands good (Prov 31:12) and to be capable helpmeets. Also, I know we women like to joke how we can’t open our own jars, for example. I know I sometimes have trouble with that. But honestly, some of the women who comment here do heavy labor that most today do not. They plant huge gardens, help their husbands in the family farms, wash clothes by hand, can produce, gather firewood, scrub floors on hands and knees, and I could go on. This requires physical strength. And that’s not even including birthing babies! Any woman who has given birth knows what a marathon that is. So no, I don’t think the women who comment here are helpless or frail. But we do value the men God has given us to protect and provide for us. We love bragging on them for all they do for us. It makes them feel loved and appreciated. And who doesn’t want to feel loved? They after all make us feel loved by all the ways they show us affection. Anyway, I hope this helps ease your mind about the strength God has designed for us to have. I hope you didn’t take offence at my words, for that was certainly not the intention. God bless.

  10. A dating site like that sounds good.
    But it is on Facebook.
    NO THANKS
It looks like I will remain a single widower.

  11. One of the top-5 big lies of Feminism is that “women are less violent”.

The only reason women have been more loving and peaceful in the past is that they had men to shoulder the burdens of violence and fighting for them.

Take away men, and then women (and children) would be forced to fight for themselves, and there would much longer and more bitter conflicts because unlike men, women are never able to forgive an enemy.

Feminism is lies. Simple as that.

  12. At least without men, you wouldn’t have senseless wars and violence.

More than a few catastrophic conflicts throughout human history that were ostensibly started by men have had women as the motivating factor. The expression “Let’s you an’ him fight” did NOT originate in a vacuum.

  13. There would be senseless wars and violence, but it would take the form of pulling hair and throwing dirt, because women would never be able to maintain a supply line, or a chain of command.

Once you run out of ammunition, you need to run an ammunition factory, which requires machinery, brass, chemical stocks, lead, which in turn requires mining, mining equipment, which in turn requires electricity, fossil fuels, which in turn requires power generation equipment, heavy machinery, and so forth.

If there ever was a war between men and women, the men could just kick back and play video games for three months, and the women would starve to death.

  14. Sci Fi buffs might like “Houston, Houston. Do You Read” a short story about a world without men. By James Tiptree, jr., the pen name of Alice Bradley Sheldon.

A world without men is a not uncommon sci fi plot device.

  15. We absolutely need men! Without men, we wouldn’t even exist.
If I try to imagine my life without the men I love in it, I see nothing but emptiness.

But to answer the question one of your ladies in the chatroom posed: I can shoot a cow, butcher it too, but how on earth could I get it up in a tree to hang and drain by myself?
The answer is: a tripod, with a pulley and chain.
My father was a butcher when I was growing up, and this is the method he used.
A tripod, pulley and chain does not need diesel or machinery. It just needs strength. Lots of strength. To be honest, I’m not sure that women would have the strength required to hoist the cow up using the chain/tripod method; it would likely take several women combined.

There have been times – like in war – when women HAD to cope mostly without men. They had no choice but to learn to do most things, because the men that were left behind were often crippled and frail. The young, able-bodied men were off fighting for our freedom. My Nan told me stories about what it was like being a young woman during WW2 and how the womenfolk kept the farm running. But she said that everyone was so glad when the men returned home. They were needed.

  16. Yes we absolutely would have senseless wars and violence!! On the weekends where I live, females of all ages are out drinking, causing trouble, getting into fights, getting arrested.
As a kid at school, I was bullied (including physically) by girls.
Hormones mean we’re prone to over-reacting and drama.
And wars are caused by greed and power – something just as many women attain to as men. Women are not immune to the total corruption that power brings.

  17. I found when I was working, the workplaces were always more calm and stable with less “office politics” if there was a man in charge, and more male staff members than female.

From what I have seen, men are, as a rule, less selfish at work. Women are often wanting time off to attend child/school/family things (which of course they will want to do!) and the men have to pick up the slack – which they willingly do. Yet there is always contests among women and bitterness and resentment about “favouritism” and who gets more time off etc.

  18. If you bang the edge of it on a chopping board it opens real easy 😉

Chopping wood is my big thing. I always get the axe stuck and my husband has to pull it out! I’ve learned now just to let him chop the wood for me 🙂

  19. I am 62 and believe that if my husband of 43 years goes to heaven before me, there will be no other. It would be unfair to compare him to any other man. I call him Harry Fix. He fixes everything. He hugs me when I feel hopeless and adores me. He has written beautiful poetry about me and loves me like no other. I openly admit that I am so opposite of him, yet he still takes really good care of me.

  20. Oh gosh Debbie I am so with you on this!! I simply cannot imagine not having all the men that I do in my life! Like you said – I love men. My husband, dad and 3 adult sons completely take care of me. My father owns a property development business and my husband and two oldest sons work for him. Our preacher and all pastoral staff at my church – men. Our family doctor is a man. In my husband’s circle of friends I find it easier to talk to the guys more so than their wives. My mother of course taught me (and continues to teach me) to be a good and obedient wife, as well as the best mom I could be. I can’t speak for everyone of course but I am very comfortable being surrounded by wise, strong, faithful and godly men and I love to be taken care of by them. I have always followed what we think is God’s plan by me embracing biblical womanhood and submission to my husband in everything.

  21. Ms. Lori, I was wondering how you feel about Jacinda Ardern? Are there lessons that can be learned from her?

  22. I have never heard of her so I looked her up. I have heard that she is acting like a tyrant concerning this virus and closing everything down to a few cases. It seems only Leftists do this. They seem to love control and tyranny. I may be wrong about this but it seems it’s what I have read about New Zealand.

  23. New Zealand has been extremely successful with almost eliminating the virus, though, and I think the country seems happy with her. I was told that she has an approval rate of over 60%. So far, NZ has had less than 30 deaths in the entire country, and that number is not growing. Here, however, we had millions of cases and almost 200,000 deaths, with the case growing by the thousands and the death rate by hundreds. I am not sure what to think and am feeling very conflicted and nervous.

  24. If you are under 45 years old, the chances of death from it is 0%. The average age of death is 75 years old with underlying health conditions. They are classifying many deaths as Covid when Covid was not the cause of death. It’s all a political hoax in order to control people.

  25. To, Mrs. Lori Alexander,

My name is Jason Hancock and I was wondering if you could help me. When I clicked on the link you provided, I saw that it lead to a Facebook page and since I already had an account with Facebook, I sought to join the group. So, I made the attempt and answered their questions and I answered honestly. I submitted my answers and waited. I had not heard from them so I went directly to their Facebook page and now, I cannot even see their invitation page. I fear that they have blocked my attempt to join. Mrs. Lori, I have been a Christian my whole life and I identify myself more as Judeo-Christian and I am in wholehearted agreement with the Bible’s stance on marriage and the respective roles of man and woman within the marriage. Mrs, Lori, I was wondering if you could contact your friends/compatriots to find out why I was blocked and what I can do to gain entry into Transformed Christian Dating so that I might be able to find a wife one day? Please I need your help. Thank you for time and, if you are willing, your assistance.

Your Brother in Yahweh and with respect and humility,

    Jason Hancock

  26. Hello, I really like your website. Very impressive. I am also in wholehearted agreement about the Biblical roles of husband and wife within a marriage.

  27. Mrs. Lori,

Thank you for your speedy reply. However, I do not think that I am able to do so because when I try to go to their invitation page, I only see this message: “This Content Isn’t Available Right Now
When this happens, it’s usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it’s been deleted.” I am at a loss as to what to do at this moment. I do hope that the page has not been deleted just as much that I do hope that I have not been blocked. Again, thank you for your reply.

    With Respect,
    Jason Hancock

  28. The same thing happened to me, Jason, so I don’t know what’s going on. Maybe, they were getting too many trolls who wanted to join and have made it by invitation only which I don’t blame them at all.

  29. Mrs. Lori,

Once more, thank you for your reply. If that is the case, then how do I go about receiving an invitation? I don’t blame them either, I too have seen websites such as fanfiction sites get plagued by trolls – not me though, I’ve only ever observed, yet given the nature of the Transformed Christian Dating page, the invitations would be at odds with the ability to seek out a prospective husband/wife to spend one’s life with.

  30. To Mrs. Lori,

I understand, thank you very much for your honesty. I hope that this issue can be resolved soon. Thank you for your time and effort in this sad turn of events.

Your Brother in Yeshua and with respect and humility,

    Jason Hancock

  31. To Mrs. Lori,

Thank you very much for reaching out to your friend concerning this matter. I truly appreciate this. Has he given any indication as to whether or not he will start over in any fashion? If not, then is there a Christian dating site that you or your friend could recommend? Again, thank you very much for your assistance.

  32. The radical feminists are probably hurting deep down inside as they say these things. Likely that their dad didn’t want them or they had trouble with a boy or something. What they need isn’t a world without men, they need a man who will love them like nothing else.
