What is Best For the Children?
“But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea” (Matthew 18:6).
I am frequently accused of being unloving and uncaring whenever I teach women to be keepers at home so they don’t blaspheme God’s Word (Titus 2:5). I love children. I want what’s best for them.
What’s best and safest for them is to be home full time with their mothers who are always available for them. I don’t care if truth offends women. Many write me and tell me that they used to be offended by me but now, they are home full time and thankful. They can see how much happier their children are with them.
Children need their mothers’ protection. Mothers love them more than anyone else. It’s a full-time job to discipline, train, teach, and nurture them. No one can take your place in your child’s life. The chance of them growing up emotionally stable and secure is far higher if you’re home with them.
Don’t hand your children off to others. Protect them from the corruption happening in our world. All of you who had working mothers know this is true. You missed out. Don’t offend your precious children any longer. Go home and trust God.
