Healing Herself of Horrible Allergies
Written By Danielle Butler
From middle school all throughout college I suffered with HORRIBLE allergies.
I can remember sneezing ten to fifteen times in a row. My eyes were watery and itchy during season changes. I had asthma, and I had chronic nosebleeds that would last an excessively long time. (I’m sure if you played softball with me or against me you can remember us having to stop the game multiple times waiting for my nose bleeds to subside. 🤦🏼♀️)
I honestly just thought allergies were normal, and there wasn’t anything I could do about it besides allergy meds.
No one ever encouraged me to look at my diet or environmental factors within my control (cleaning products, personal care products, air fresheners, scented candles, body spray…I was the worst!). I also think I had some mold exposure in our house growing up.
Fast forward a few years…I started really cleaning up my diet and slowly getting toxins out of our home just to be healthier. (I wasn’t specifically doing it for allergies. I was doing it after learning more about preventing cancer.)
My allergies completely went away, I haven’t used an inhaler in over 10 years, and I can’t remember the last time I had a nosebleed. 👏
I truly believe they Lord healed that for me, and I know changing my diet and lifestyle helped tremendously as well.
I didn’t make the connection till much later. I honestly didn’t even realize that my allergies weren’t an issue any longer because I wasn’t specifically trying to heal them. But one day it hit me, I don’t have allergy issues anymore!🙌🏻 Praise God!
It was a by product (and yet another benefit) of all of the lifestyle changes.
If you are struggling with these things, try working on diet and lifestyle rather than symptom management.
👉🏻It doesn’t HAVE to be that way.
I think many times allergies are a symptom of something else that needs to be addressed.
Maybe gut health, maybe environmental, maybe dietary?
Just give it a shot.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
