Men Want a Wife, NOT a Competitor

Men Want a Wife, NOT a Competitor

The discussion Matt Walsh and Megan Kelly on the timeline today about traditional gender roles is a perfect barometer for where our culture is at, and the nature of the massive divide between the sexes.

The discussion mirrors exactly what we’ve exposed over and over again in our conversations with women on the @whatever podcast:

Modern women expect traditional masculinity from men, but frequently become incensed and defensive when traditional femininity is expected from them in return.

This is a destructive byproduct of the civilizational poison known as feminism.

Feminism, an ideology founded by women who literally wrote about their worship of Lucifer, is an inversion of God’s good and perfect design for the household.

The poison of feminism programs women’s minds into rejecting their God-given roles as women which causes destruction of the family unit and chaos in households as a result.

I’ve seen this play out in my own life: the feminist mindset catalyzed the divorce between my own parents when I was growing up.

Ironically, it also caused Megyn Kelly’s divorce with her first husband.

Megyn Kelly can brag on the timeline about how she completely rejects a traditional feminine role, doesn’t cook or do anything traditional for her husband, and how her husband finds her career-oriented mindset more attractive than the alternative but any masculine dude knows this is false.

Masculine men desire feminine women and vice versa.

This is the basic polarity of the sexes, written into our DNA by God Himself.

Denying it only contributes to the growing divide between the sexes and further accelerates the destruction of the family unit.

Accepting our God-given roles is crucial to restore God’s natural order, restore the integrity of the family unit, and create healthy homes that produce well-adjusted and healthy individuals.

We can reject God’s design and descend further into chaos, or we can accept it and flourish.

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
Proverbs 31:10-12
