The TPUSA Women’s Leadership Summit
Last weekend, TPUSA held a Women’s Leadership Summit in San Antonio, Texas. I shared this on X the other day: “TPUSA used to be run by men, mostly Charlie Kirk. Now, it’s run by women. They just had their Women’s Leadership Summit. This isn’t good and not God’s plan for women who claim the name of Christ.” Then, I added a picture of one of the women speaking at this conference.

One woman, who had attended the conference, criticized me for sharing this. I asked her, “Were there older women teaching the women to be keepers at home so they don’t blaspheme His Word (Titus 2:5)? How about being silent in the churches or having meek and quiet spirits? What about being obedient to their husband as Sarah was to Abraham? Dressing modestly?”
She answered: “Older women were teaching the younger women how to keep their home, yes. Do you acknowledge that your initial tweet is false?”
I responded: “There’s a huge difference between women being taught how to keep their home and actually being keepers at home. That’s easy and doesn’t offend anyone. Teaching women to be ‘keepers at home’ offends most, but it’s what God commands older women to teach younger women.”
She told me I shouldn’t offend anyone. I told her truth will always offend most.
Women’s Bible Studies and conferences should be older women teaching the women to be sober, love and obey their husbands, and what this actually looks like, love their children, be chaste (sexually pure), discreet (includes modesty), good (meek and quiet spirits and silent in the churches). Keepers at home, so they don’t blaspheme God’s Word, as God commands older women to do in Titus 2:3-5. Few, if any, Women’s Bible studies or conferences obey God.
Spencer Smith made a video about this conference. What he found about some of these speakers will shock you! He does reference my book “Biblical Womanhood: A Study Guide.” (I guess he didn’t know I had published it already seven years ago!)
One of the women who spoke is a pastor. This is what John MacArthur had to say about this: “Perhaps women pastors and women preachers are the most obvious evidence of churches rebelling against the Bible. I can’t think of anything that’s as far-reaching and transcends all denominations as the woman’s rebellion against the Word of God with regard to women preachers. Women who pastor, women who preach in a church, are a disgrace, and they openly reflect opposition to the clear command of the Word of God. This is flagrant disobedience. It has been acceptable in our culture, and now it is acceptable even in the evangelical world.”
Women standing up on stage and speaking to a stadium full of women is preaching. Even if I were asked to speak at something like this, I wouldn’t go. I don’t want to be associated with female preachers, and God doesn’t call me to do that. He commands me to be a keeper at home, so this is what I am. Technology has made a way for me to be at home and teach biblical womanhood, but I do interact with the women online daily and mentor many. It’s far different than traveling and getting up on a stage to preach. No, thank you.

I’d never heard of Spencer before, nor of this “H.E.R. conference.” Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and Spencer’s right: good’s being portrayed as evil and evil’s being portrayed as good, and witchcraft is being cloaked in conservatism.
I need righteousness for a garment. I need to put on Christ and have no other gods before me. I need to wake up! Open my eyes! And realize once again: While these truly are the last days, there’s not one thing new under the sun.
Wise up to the Word, ladies! Armor up! The enemy of our souls is coming for our young! All thy children SHALL BE taught of the LORD, and great shall be their peace.
“Prone to wander Lord I feel it, prone to leave the God I love.” I feel this is the anthem for us women. We are usually trying to seek a “deeper” fellowship but walk right past the Lord. I pray to God almighty, that He will help me and us to do His good and perfect will.
Lori,
I completely agree with you. Further, women ARE to learn; read their bibles, preferably along side of their husbands, attend worship with them where the one and only true Gospel is presented by men, AND if they wish to learn anything they are commanded to “ask their own husbands at home”. And as it concerns women teaching women, you are correct, Titus 2 dictates Who and WHAT they are commended to teach. Frankly, there are too many women teaching other women everything except was is commanded in Titus 2. Consider IF all women submitted and were obedient to God, how respect, submission, and the corresponding obedience would grow in the hearts of all women and their daughters if this was the principle teaching and learning that was occurring. Certainly humility would increase, and pride would decrease. Further, husbands would be encouraged to fulfill their God determined role as husbands to love their own wives, and to teach their own wives rather than continue being emasculated by other men, I.e. pastors and elders who lead women to independence from and disrespectful of their own husbands. I love, cherish, provide, protect and care for my wife yet when I seek to lead her and assist her in sound doctrine, I am often rebuffed or worse. None the less, I rejoice …, pray …, and give thanks …, for this is the will of God for those In Christ Jesus.
Lori, I am with you 100% on this one. I don’t recognize TPUSA anymore. Since CK passed away, it has come under the leadership of women of both sexes if you get my meaning. God’s judgement is swift and unless they correct course, they will be no more in a very short time.
It’s very sad and not how it should be. Charlie was TPUSA.
I really dug into a lot of Spencer Smith’s videos and documentaries. I’m shocked at how deceptive some of these “churches” are operating. I also realized I grew up in that New Apostolic Reformation cult. I thank the Lord that he brought me my husband who showed me what true faith is and that we can build our lives on God’s Word. I long to live holy and obey the Word. I have no desire to “rise up” or be “empowered”. I love being home with my children and discipling them with Truth! Thank you for what you do, Ms. Lori!
You’re welcome, Hannah! God’s ways are so good.
I agree with you women’s Bible study should be about older women teaching the younger women how to love their husbands and children and be keepers are home. But unfortunately, most women’s conferences/bible study teach women to do the opposite. Teaches them everything but to do what Titus 2:3-5 commands.
I love reading the comments! From my experience with women Bible studies, many older women do not know the Word to be able to teach it to the younger women. I was the youngest lady in a Bible study (in my mid 40s) and was the only one who was a stay at home homeschooling mother. The other women all worked or had retired and were so proud of their daughters for having careers. I do not have close friends and feel as if I’m an old soul. So many women don’t see the need for the woman to be home with their own children and then being there for the aging parents. College and career is expected for the young girls. Living on one income is incomprehensible these days. I do yearn for the Titus 2 mentor to encourage me. I would love to have that type of friendship with a God fearing woman to be able to just talk of daily life as a Christian woman. It’s as if I do not know how to connect with women these days. I haven’t been able to find another who enjoys being home, being a wife and mother, and speaking of the things of God.
So thank you for this blog. It is so encouraging reading the comments of other women who live as I. I do not feel alone.
