Walk Worthy of the Lord
God wants us to “walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing…” (Colossians 1:10). What does this look like for women?
He commands we love, submit to, and obey our husbands, not be quarrelsome, contentious, controlling, nor manipulative.
He commands us to be sober, not being influenced by alcohol, drugs, emotions, nor feelings, but by Truth instead.
He commands us to love our children which means lovingly disciplining, training, teaching, and caring for them.
He commands us to be good; dwelling on the true, honest, just, pure, lovely and virtuous, not on the filth of this world.
He commands us to be chaste in our bodies and our minds before and after marriage; keeping the marriage bed undefiled in thoughts and action.
He commands us to be discreet in the way we dress (modestly), act (meek and quiet spirit, and quiet in the churches), and think (dwell only on the good).
He commands us to be keepers at home, not out in the workforce or involved in a bunch of activities away from home but diligently caring for our husband, children, and homes.
If we love the Lord, we will obey Him and remember, exceptions don’t negate truth, and His commands are not burdensome. They are for our good.
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31

Thank you Lori for your steadfast commitment to speaking Gods truth in love. As I sit here after having attended mass this morning with my husband, and spent the day cleaning our home and preparing a delicious homemade pizza dinner I am thankful for your teaching! I spent too many years outside the home 🏠 and God brought me back thanks to your teaching and encouragement. Forever thankful God bless you 🙏🙏🙏
