**2 Kings 9:22**: “And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?”

5. **She claims to be religious**:
**Revelation 2:20**: “Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.”

6. **She refuses to accept guilt**:
**2 Kings 9:30**: “And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.”

7. **She is ungrateful to God**:

3. **She honors God’s leaders**:
**Ruth 2:10**: “Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?”

4. **She lives modestly and pure**:
**Ruth 3:11**: “And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.”

  1. I really enjoyed Mark Driscoll a sermons on Jezebel. He covered it really well. And I’ve listened to lots of sermons on her.
