Mother’s Day truly is my favourite day of the year not because I get spoilt (I do!) but because on this day, my children show me by the huge amount of effort they put into making presents, that I am important to them.
Sometimes in the busyness of life and juggling multiple children it’s easy to forget the importance of a mother’s role, but this day reminds me that I am Mum. Nobody can replace me. And today reminds me that little eyes are watching, little ears are listening, and they are learning from everything I do and say. I pray that I would be a good example.

Like many women, I have mixed feelings about Mother’s Day. I love being a mum, but miss my dear old mum. It’s been 8 years since she passed away.
