One woman took me on about my last post about women preachers. She argued that Susan Heck is a great Bible teacher and does teach biblical womanhood. So, I researched her since other women have told me this too. Here are the books she has written: Sermon on the Mount, 1 John, 1 Timothy, 1 Peter, Putting Off Sins, 2 Timothy, Philippians, Ephesians, Spirit-Filled Marriages, James, John 13-17, Colossians, and Prayer. She has only written ONE book on biblical womanhood! She stands behind a pulpit and preaches to women.

Therefore, from what I have studied in God’s Word, she is not biblically qualified to do what she is doing. Women can learn all of the books of the Bible she wrote and preaches about from biblically qualified men (pastors, elders) in the churches or from books these men have written, as God commands us to do. We don’t need to learn this from women. God is so clear on what He wants older women teaching the younger women in Titus 2:3-5. There are numerous qualifications a man must meet in order to lead in a church and preach and teach God’s Word. Susan Heck doesn’t meet the qualification of being a man.

No woman is biblically qualified to preach and teach in the churches. I am sorry to burst your bubble. There isn’t one woman in the Bible who preached or taught in a church. We are to be silent in the churches.

Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
1 Timothy 2:11-15

God wants us to be keepers at home, even in our older age. Teach biblical womanhood from your home and in other women’s homes to whomever will listen! Once saved, women NEED to be taught this. Even lost women need to be taught the beautiful ways of the Lord. He is their Creator too, even though they don’t acknowledge Him as such.
