They Have Tasted Careers and Are Not So Fond of Them
“Many 19-year-old girls, I’ve talked to many of them, believe that their career it going to be the most important thing in their life. Very few 30-year-old women believe that, even if they have high-powdered careers…” (Dr. Jordan Peterson). The 30-year-olds have tasted careers and have found them to not live up to the expectations that they were told all of their lives.
From the time girls are young, they’re asked what they want to be when they grow up. They must decide on a career from a young age, so they have a good answer to give. All of education prepares them for this career. The paycheck is the almighty idol of these girls. They are taught to be independent and never need to depend upon a man, so they grow up, go to college, and get a career. After living 9:00 to 5:00 jobs for years, coming home to an empty apartment, and being lonely, it no longer is so appealing to them.
By this time, most of them have fornicated. They were never taught to be sexually pure for marriage. They were taught to live it up, use birth control pills, and if there’s an accident then have an abortion. They fill their emptiness with sex, drugs, and alcohol, then we wonder why so many young women are depressed and suicidal these days. Living for oneself will never bring the satisfaction and fulfillment they desire. We weren’t created to live for ourselves.
God never intended for women to live independent from men. Women who do this intentionally are in rebellion to God’s plan. He created women to be their husbands’ help meets, and He said that it wasn’t good for man to be alone. “God setteth the solitary in families” (Psalm 68:6). God created family so people wouldn’t be lonely. This is His perfect plan. The husband works hard to provide for the family, and the wife bears children and stays home to raise them and makes her house a home. This is God’s cure for loneliness!
It’s all a grand deception to cause young girls to believe their lives are about careers and paychecks. No one will ever find satisfaction and fulfillment away from God’s will for them, no, not even unbelievers, because they were created by God Almighty too. He is their Creator too, even if they deny His existence. They were made for His will, not theirs.
Yes, women will keep pursuing this unfulfilling path, since many find that what I teach to be disgusting. The only reason they think this is due to the feminist air they have breathed their entire lives. Just think about it, no one would think anything against what I teach in my mom’s generation just 70 years ago. They would tell me, “Yeah, so what?” So has God’s will changed or have women decided to follow the broad path that leads to destruction rather than God’s path for them?
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:13, 14
