Are the Daughter’s of Eve Being Misled?
One of the reasons God gave for women not teaching men nor being in authority over them in the churches is because Eve was deceived (1 Timothy 2:14). Does this mean that all women are more easily deceived? Of course, it does! If the perfect, sinless Eve could be deceived, we who are fallen and sinful can absolutely be easily deceived.
One man tweeted this the other day, “If Eve was deceived before she sinned, think how much more the Daughter’s of Eve are deceived after sin entered the world. This is why we need strong men in the pulpits, to stand against the deception.”
I have argued that women should not preach even to women in the churches. God gave this ministry solely to men. God is extremely clear on what He wants older women teaching the younger women in Titus 2:3-5, namely biblical womanhood. My conviction on this becomes stronger with each passing day as I watch all of these female preachers grow farther and farther away from God’s Word.
Many of us rejoiced the other day when it was leaked that the Supreme Court was going to overturn Roe v Wade. But guess what all of the popular female preachers wrote about this? NOTHING! Beth Moore wrote about blueberries, and Priscilla Shirer tweeted this about the godless, immoral TV show “This is Us” – “Might be the most thoughtful, well-structured, smartly written, spectacularly acted, emotionally inviting and heart provoking series that I have ever watched. Every episode is endearing and breathtaking.” I wrote this about this TV show years ago.
Women were not created by God to get on stages behind pulpits in churches or auditoriums and teach His Word. They are to be teaching and working with the young women and teaching them the ways of biblical womanhood. We don’t need nor have ever needed female Bible teachers! There are many solid, male Bible preachers and teachers who are teaching the Truths of God’s Word boldly and unashamedly. (I have a bunch of them in my saved Instagram stories under “sermons.”) These female preachers didn’t celebrate Roe v Wade being overturned, why? Either they didn’t care or they didn’t want to offend the millions of women who follow their false teachings.
“And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not” (2 Peter 2:3). These false teachers are making merchandise of the women who follow them. They make a lot of money from their book sales and conferences. They don’t want anything to stop this flow of money to them as they continue to teach women these “feigned words” (to represent falsely; to pretend; to form and relate a fictitious tale). Oh yes, they may sound so good and make you feel so good about yourselves, women, but this isn’t truth. Truth convicts and challenges you!
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
Romans 16:17
