On Twitter recently, there’s a lot of talk about Bathsheba being raped. The Bible doesn’t say she was raped, but I didn’t have a strong opinion about it either way until I figured out that it was feminists spreading this rumor for the purpose of dismantling Patriarch. They will argue that men can’t be the ones in authority since it usually results in abuse of some type. Therefore, they must do a lot of twisting of Scripture to come to…
There’s a lot of disagreements of women’s roles in the churches. The Apostle Paul made it extremely clear with what our roles are. I decided to look up what the commentaries of old wrote about 1 Timothy 2:12: “But I suffer not a woman to teach, not to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.” “The whole purpose of these weighty admonitions of the great founder of the Gentile Churches relegates Christian women to their own legitimate…
One woman named Dr. Jennifer Rubin tweeted this recently: “This is the daycare costs for two children in Seattle during the month of July. Please tell me how grad students and postdocs are able to afford childcare.” The cost is $5,922.00. Then many responded to her about other countries giving mothers up to two years of paid leave and free childcare. Jennifer also retweeted this by Dr. Sarah Odell: “I would like to remind everyone that while childcare is important…
The day after Roe v Wade was overturned, Beth Moore responded to Karen Swallow Prior’s tweet. Here is what Karen wrote: “Our work now is just starting: we must help and support moms, dads, and babies. Love them all – and in so doing making abortion unimaginable.” Beth responded, and it’s the ONLY thing she has written on this topic: “Yes, step up, church. Take responsibility for the fact that pro-life is either pro-all-life – which is in step with…
“When the family shall no longer have a head, and the great foundation for the subjection of children in the mother’s example is gone; when the mother shall have found another sphere than her home for her energies; when she shall have exchanged the sweet charities of domestic love and sympathy for the fierce passions of the hustings [political campaigning]; when families shall be disrupted at the caprice [impulse] of either party, and the children scattered as foundlings[abandoned infant] from…
ADVICE ON MARRIAGE TO YOUNG LADIES Do not marry at all. But if you must avoid the Beauty Men, Flirts, and the Bounders, Tailor’s Dummies, and the Football Enthusiasts. Look for a Strong, Tame Man, a Fire-lighter, Coal-getting, Window Cleaner, and Yard Swiller. Don’t except too much, most men are lazy, selfish, thoughtless, lying, drunken, clumsy, heavy-footer, rough, unmanly brutes, and need taming. All Bachelors are, and many are worse still. If you want him to be happy, Feed the…
Shared By Lindsay Harold on her Facebook page Here’s a rather humorous and helpful list of tips for wives from the 1970’s, published in the Dear Abby column. This was mainstream advice back in the day but utterly taboo today. I only came across them because I saw someone, with a rather large internet following and a ministry specifically geared toward Christian married women, saying some of these made her nauseous. That makes no sense as these are very sensible…
The other night, I listened to the greatest sermon on biblical womanhood that I have ever listened to by Pastor Voddie Baucham. He gave it nine years ago, and it is so powerful! He first exhorted young men to only marry a woman who is submissive. “She must be submissive. Period.” He taught that submission is about order, not value. Men and women have different functions and roles. However, submission is voluntary. A husband can’t arm wrestle his wife into…
Every institution on this planet has a leader, a boss. Marriage is no different. Two heads create a monster. A husband is head of his wife, and the wife is commanded to live in submission to her husband. It’s God’s perfectly ordained order for marriage, but many rebel against this. They use Ephesians 5:21 to say a husband is commanded to submit to his wife. This isn’t biblical. I will take you through the Bible in order to prove to…
As we are witnessing, many are being injured by the jabs they’re giving for the recent virus. If you took it and are now experiencing side effects or are concerned about the long-term side effects, here is an informative article on how to heal your body from this jab and even from the side effects of the virus itself. This is only the last portion of the article which dealt with the healing protocols. I wanted to have it easily…
